We are seeking an experienced Senior Tax Specialist to join our team at J&T EXPRESS (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD.' in our HQ office - KL Eco City . As a Senior Tax Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the company's tax compliance and optimising its tax strategy. What you'll be doing

• Overseeing the preparation and filing of all tax returns, including income tax, GST, and other relevant taxes
• Providing strategic tax planning and advice to the organisation to minimise tax liabilities
• Analysing tax legislation and regulations to ensure the company's compliance
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify tax-saving opportunities
• Maintaining comprehensive tax records and documentation
• Representing the company in tax audits and liaising with tax authorities
• Mentoring and training junior tax professionals within the team

What we're looking

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Finance/ Accountancy / Taxation or equivalent
• 3 years working experience in the related field is required for this position
• Proven expertise in Malaysian tax laws and regulations, particularly in the Taxation industry
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with stakeholders
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficient in the use of tax-related software and tools
