Responsibilities:

• Resource Planning and Scheduling:
  Plan and allocate resources such as vehicles, flights, and personnel based on delivery demands. Ensure optimal resource utilization while minimizing idle time and waiting periods.
• Transportation Monitoring:
  Monitor the transportation process in real-time, track delivery punctuality, and ensure safety and efficiency using GPS systems and other technologies.
• Incident Management:
  Respond promptly to unexpected situations during transportation, such as vehicle breakdowns, traffic accidents, and weather changes. Adjust routes and resources as necessary and report incidents in a timely manner.
• Communication and Coordination:
  Maintain effective communication with drivers, warehouse managers, customer service teams, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate execution of transportation instructions and resolve issues.
• Cost Control:
  Optimize scheduling plans by analyzing transportation routes and time factors to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
• Quality Management:
  Ensure transportation service quality by regularly inspecting vehicles for maintenance and suitability to maintain reliability and safety.
• Reporting:
  Prepare transportation and scheduling reports, analyze transportation data, and provide decision-making support to management.

Requirements:  

• Relevant experience in a fleet scheduling or logistics role, preferably within the transportation or logistics industry.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to optimise fleet operations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with various teams.
• Proficiency in using fleet management software and data analysis tools.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Must be able to work in a rotational shift schedule.
